The Peter Lynn Vapor II is a fast kite straight out of the bag, but there is a definitive learning curve to master its potential and push it to it’s limits. As all buggy pilots quickly learn, the key to pushing buggy kites past their ‘out of the bag’ speed limit and performance is brake line tension. The challenge lies in finding the sweet spots for every wind speed.

Special attention has been given to making the Peter Lynn Vapor II as stable as possible and that trait will reveal itself in the more tricky racing situations. To accomplish this, Peter Lynn has incorporated some construction techniques that were unprecedented in kite construction, and set the entire wing to a more arch shaped form.
Exceptionally Rigid Wing - Rigid wing shape increasing stability, performance and response
By increasing the overall cell count of the Peter Lynn Vapor II, each cell has become smaller in diameter giving them less room to bulge and/or deform, resulting in an overall slimmer wing as well as an increase in rigidity. Next to making the kite incredibly responsive to the slightest steering input, this improved rigidity also results in the kite maintaining its shape and generated power through turns. This allows you to push harder on even the most complex terrain or racetrack. The constant power not only makes you faster through turns it also allows you to accelerate quicker out of any turn, giving you a serious edge over the competition.
Aerodynamic Perfection - Smooth top and bottom skin to reduce drag
Aerodynamics largely determine top speed, this is why the Peter Lynn Design Team has meticulously shaped and fitted each individual panel to make the Peter Lynn Vapor II as smooth as possible. To create a smooth wing, each panel has been individually designed and formed to bulge out under pressure without creating wrinkles and creases that cause undesirable drag.
Performance Enhancing Bridle - Minimized and pressure dependent bridling to reduce drag.
Not every bridle line gets to endure the same level of pull. Therefore Peter Lynn found it is possible to reduce the diameter of the lower load bridle lines even further without weakening the overall bridle strength. Furthermore, the Peter Lynn Design Team has managed to reduce the number of bridle cascades (bridle groups) from 5 to 4 per side. This was accomplished both by eliminating the secondary bridle lines, and by using 'Bridge rib technology' which makes it possible to skip 4 cells between bridle connection points.
Premium Construction & Materials - Built to withstand the tests of time
The very best construction techniques and highest quality materials have been used to make the Peter Lynn Vapor II last many seasons longer than the competition. Double needle stitching on every seam, bridle points that are not only Dacron reinforced but also secured into the seams, carefully balanced spacing between cross-vents to prevent wear/stretch induced deformation and the list goes on. All these build characteristics are there to ensure there is no performance loss occurring over time.

4-line Race Quad Handles - The Peter Lynn Race handles are designed for the buggy competition scene. These 4-line handles feature an EVA foam grip around the complete handle, as well as Dyneema lines for direct steering and precise kite control. As competition buggy riders hold their handles horizontally in line with each other, the top sections of most ordinary handles may prevent smooth steering when these parts move past each other. The Race handles therefore have the top line attachment closer towards the top of the handle, to ensure smoother steering when riding at full speed in your buggy. These handles are designed to be grabbed below the top line attachment, for riding hooked in to your harness at all times. Available in sizes small (30cm) or large (40cm), and also supplied with a Dyneema Harness Strop Line (for use / connection with kite harness - *harness not included).

4-line Freestyle Quad Handles - The Peter Lynn Freestyle handles have been designed to satisfy the demand of top level riders. The handles are fully covered with EVA foam for optimal grip anywhere on the handle. All lines are made from Heavy Dyneema, ensuring extra durability and minimum stretch. Designed primarily for allround traction kiting, landboarding, freestyle buggying and snowkiting, the Freestyle handles feature a soft neoprene cover around the top line attachment. The handles are designed to be grabbed with the top line attachment between the index- and middle finger or below the top line attachment when riding hooked in.
